The K-100 Aerodyne was made in a time of tough government regulations which limited the length of semis and necessitated putting the driver right over the powerplant. Kenworth® dates back to 1923, when Edgar Worthington and Frederick Kent started the company in Seattle. They helped pioneer the COE design.
